Free Chinese herbal medicine for women with Recurrent urinary tract infections

28 February 2011

If you are a woman over 18 years of age with 3 or more episodes of urinary tract infections (cystitis) in the past 12 months then you may be eligible to receive a free consultation followed by up to 3 months free herbal treatment.

This is the first stage of a larger piece of research to investigate the possible role of Chinese medicine in preventing recurrent urinary tract infections.

Treatment will be with Andrew Flower PhD MRCHM, an experienced practitioner and herbal medicine researcher based at Southampton University, and will take place at the Avicenna Clinic in Hove and in the White Crane Clinic in North London.

We only have funding for a small number of women to take part and places will be offered on a first come first served basis.

If you would like more information please phone Andrew on 020 7586 6639 or e mail him at

This research is co-funded by The Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine and the Southampton Complementary Medicine Research Trust.
